Sugar and Cream? YES PLEASE!

This morning, Nate and I decided to grab breakfast... at 1:30 pm! We walked over to Anthony's, on the water front and we were instantly greeted with a thick smell of greasy greek breakfast food. In my attempt to look fit on the Big Day, I ordered oatmeal with fruit. Nate ordered two bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches. I took one bite of my healthy breakfast and started to gag. I put the lid on top, grabbed my coat and was ready to leave, because I knew what was the best fix for this healthy breakfast! Lots of cream and lots of brown sugar. I LOVE oatmeal... but I want it to taste more like an oatmeal cookie, or maybe apple crisp.

No one is my family is a healthy eater. I actually think it's impossible for a Cannon child to be healthy. Nate likes to describe it as, "you just take really healthy foods and make them unhealthy!" This, I learned from the best cook and baker in the world, my mom. No dish goes on our tables without a cube of butter and several drops of cream.

Nate and I were thinking how much easier life would be, if the bad foods we shouldn't eat were... well, his suggestion, "vegetables!" and my suggestion, "sushi!" I could definitely live without sushi!
